In the automotive industry, great attention is paid to customer satisfaction and the resolution of problems related to the operation of cars. For the rapid verification of defects detected in the car use, especially during the warranty period, methodologies applicable throughout the supply chain have been developed. The methodologies include both procedures for confirming defects and procedures in the event of repeated but unconfirmed defects from the field. After confirming the defects, a root cause analysis is followed and corrective measures are proposed, with the aim of minimizing negative impacts on end users.
The training Field Defective Parts Analysis aims to introduce the current VDA FFA (Field Failure Analysis) methodologies and the alternative CQI-14 Automotive Warranty Management. The training explains the complaint resolution process, including examples of possible applications in the supply chain. It is intended for persons handling complaints, design and process engineers, as well as those responsible for the production process.
